Cooking Steps
  1. Lightly coat each chicken breast in a mixture of flour, salt, and turmeric.
  2. Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides—about 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and add shallots and garlic. Sauté until softened and aromatic, approximately 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the Dijon mustard and heavy cream, then simmer briefly to meld the flavors together.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and transfer to the oven. Cook until the chicken reaches 165°F—about 12-15 minutes.
  6. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing to maintain its juiciness.
