- Lightly coat each chicken breast in a mixture of flour, salt, and turmeric.
- Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides—about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and add shallots and garlic. Sauté until softened and aromatic, approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the Dijon mustard and heavy cream, then simmer briefly to meld the flavors together.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and transfer to the oven. Cook until the chicken reaches 165°F—about 12-15 minutes.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing to maintain its juiciness.
