  • 1 package Puff Pastry Thawed before use
  • 1 large Egg For egg wash
For the Filling and Glaze
  • 8 ounces Burrata Cheese Substitute with mozzarella or goat cheese if unavailable
  • 1 cup Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce Optional to add a splash of orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Reduce for less sweet version
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar Optional

Method
 

Making Puff Pastry Trees
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into long triangles.
  3. Twist each triangle from the base to the tip to form a spiral tree shape.
  4. Brush the twisted pastries with beaten egg.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  6. Prepare the glaze by combining cranberry sauce, honey, and balsamic vinegar in a saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Top the pastries with torn burrata and drizzle with warm cranberry glaze.
  8. Garnish with crushed pistachios and fresh herbs if desired.
