How to Make Holiday Rice Krispie Treats
  1. Line a 9-inch square baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the salted butter over medium heat. Add 15 ounces of mini marshmallows and reduce heat to low, stirring until completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the pure vanilla extract.
  4. Gently fold in the rice krispies cereal and the remaining 1 cup of marshmallows until evenly coated.
  5. Fold in 1 cup of holiday M&M's and all the sprinkles.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press gently until evenly spread.
  7. Melt the Ghirardelli white chocolate wafers and drizzle over the top. Scatter the remaining ¼ cup of holiday M&M's.
  8. Let sit at room temperature for one hour before cutting into bars and serving.
