How to Make Holiday Rice Krispie Treats
- Line a 9-inch square baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the salted butter over medium heat. Add 15 ounces of mini marshmallows and reduce heat to low, stirring until completely melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in the pure vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in the rice krispies cereal and the remaining 1 cup of marshmallows until evenly coated.
- Fold in 1 cup of holiday M&M's and all the sprinkles.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press gently until evenly spread.
- Melt the Ghirardelli white chocolate wafers and drizzle over the top. Scatter the remaining ¼ cup of holiday M&M's.
- Let sit at room temperature for one hour before cutting into bars and serving.
