  • 1 lb large shrimp Peeled and deveined
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half
  • 3 cloves garlic Minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice Adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp freshly cracked pepper
For the Finishing Touches
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs e.g. parsley, basil

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook your pasta until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, add a drizzle of olive oil. Sauté the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque, then set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds. Combine heavy cream and lemon juice; cook until sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Return shrimp and drained pasta to skillet. Toss together, adding reserved pasta water for creamy consistency. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving hot. Optional: sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
