Preparation Steps

  4. Caramelize the Tomato Paste: Stir the tomato paste with sautéed onions and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, blend cooled pasta, smashed olives, lemon juice, parsley, and onion-tomato mixture. Toss gently.
  6. Season and Garnish: Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with crisped capers on top.
  7. Serve or Chill: Serve immediately or refrigerate for a few hours for improved flavors.
